Original numbers matching coupe, not a 2plus 2. I’ve owned the jaguar for 7 years, having purchased it from a gentleman in colorado who had owned it formany years and took obvious pride in the car. He only sold it because he was getting on in years. First, there isno rust on the jaguar visible anywhere. The previous owner had reputedly rebuilt the engine, although i have noreceipts to confirm; just a few pictures of the fresh engine on a stand prior to installation. The car wasoriginally a robin’s egg blue color which can still be seen in the spare tire wheel well and behind the dash. The previous owner had the xke re-sprayed old english white. I’d estimate the paint is at least 10 years old. Most of the chips in the paint finish arealong the leading edges of the bonnet and doors which i have touched up. The engine has remainedin stellar working order. It is quiet, never runs hot, is very powerful and uses little to no oil. (it does dripsome oil at rest but nothing out of the ordinary.) the gearbox is excellent and all mechanical and electricalsystems function as they should with the exception of the clock and original radio which works but doesn’t soundall that great. I have receipts for thousands of dollars of work carried out since i’ve owned the car. Thesmaller jobs and strict routine maintenance, i’ve done myself. The more involved repairs were entrusted to thepreeminent independent jaguar repair facility in this region. These include a new clutch, pressure plate andrelease bearing, new cooling fan motors, front and rear brake rebuild, complete front end rebuild, gas tank cleanedand sealed, new drive shaft u-joints, reconditioned speedo and many more jobs carried out to keep the car in topdriving condition. I purchased thetires several years back; they have perhaps 5000 miles and look like new. I’ve also replaced the seat bottomsupports and foam, but re-used the original leather seat covers which are in remarkable shape for their age. Air Conditioning

1968 jaguar e type in my opinion, a very nice coupe version of the jaguar etype should be $75k. Automatic cars are bringing over$30,000. 00 and should be. I reduced the price only so i can finish my 1969 e-type. This is a very nice classic jaguar e type coupe. It is a manual version of the 2+2. These cars are going throughthe roof and spring is only increasing that. The car has 69,436 showing on the odometer. I have the heritagecertificate. This e type has had a serious amount of work done. I will say for the most part it has been redone. Ido have quite a few receipts. It is not perfect, but very nice and can be driven now. This car runs very good. The paint is nice with only a fewflaws. The interior is very nice also. All guages work along with the radio and even the clock! The chrome, glass,etc is also in good condition. The underbody is nice and has a very recent exhaust system. The car has covered headlights which make it look like a series one. The engine was rebuilt around 25,000 miles ago according to the former owner. It also received a very expensive triple carb setup.

Finish the vision and own the fastest xke around or rebuild to original specifications. Original engine parts included. The series iii was born in 1970 and ended in 1974. There were only 1,266 convertibles with a v12 with quad zenith-stromberg carburetion under the bonnet in 1972. The 1972 5. 3l v12 engine provided 300 horsepower and is the most powerful of the series iii family. This vehicles engine was rebuilt with 6 weber carburetors and new intake manifold to add even more horsepower while still keeping the number matching theme. This is a rust free, filler free car. Every panel removed and refit for perfection. The entire undercarriage has been zebarted for rust prevention. All mechanical parts have either been replaced or reconditioned (driver door handle needs reconnecting to the door lock and rubber door seals should be replaced with next paint job. The last time this vehicle was painted was in 1989 and shows some wear in spots). I started this project with my son when he turned 10. It seems like i went to sleep and when i awoke he was going off to college. It has been garage stored and has never been driven in the snow. This is definitely a warn weather vehicle. There are currently 3 miles on the odometer. I haven’t even plated this car in 3 years. I start it every few months to exercise the engine and then dust it off. The car has no rust whatsoever with the floor boards and all the typical rust-prone areas completely original, solid and rust-free! The car shows no signs of any accidents of any kind and has a completely straight body with only minor imperfections, noticeable upon very close inspection. The original tan color soft top headliner with matching tanneau cover which is also in good shape.

Not a 2 + 2,with a back seat ). It is now kept inside in a climate controlled, environment. This car, has had some major restoration work done ... And some high-performance improvements were also made! This work was done in 2006. A five (5)-speed transmissionan electric cooling fan, with an aluminum radiator a light-weighted fiberglass bonnet has been added. Plus, two late model seats were also added. I am not sure about the car's history, but the motor has jaguar 5-2-64, stamped in raised letters on the motor's block. Present condition:there are no scratchesno dents or rust, on the paintchrome, or the wire wheels... Drives even greater!

After warming up, car drives like a bullet shoots straight. All lights and signals work perfect. Wipers horn as well. This jaguar don't claim to perfection. But it's one of the few ones out there that is in true great condition. No worries attached. I am going to replace the tires. Car comes with car cover.

At some point in its life, someone upgraded this 3.8 liter jaguar to the larger Jaguar 4.2 liter engine as well as a few other 4.2 improvements. We do have a correct 3.8 liter engine and cylinder head that will go with the car if the buy it now is used.
